Modalities of Conducting Final Semester Examinations During COVID –19 Pandemic Condition
End of semester theory examinations for UG, PG & Arrear Examinations are to be held from 01.02.2022 onwards through Online Mode and the Time Table of the End of Semester Examination is displayed in the College Website (www.gascgobi.ac.in). Online examinations will be conducted with the existing approved pattern of question papers. The duration of examination is 3 hours between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. in the Fore Noon Session and between 1.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. in the After Noon Session. EXAM TIME TABLE Candidates who have arrears in the semester papers will be permitted to write the examinations provided they have already registered and paid the examination fee. Students must join the Google Meet by 9.10 a.m. in the FN Session and 1.10 p.m. in the AN Session and make their attendance over video and audio to the respective class coordinator during the exam days. Students should strictly follow the dress code and must wear the college ID Card for video attendance via Google Meet. After the Attendance Session is over, with the permission of the class coordinator students can leave from the Google Meet. Candidates can receive the Question Paper over the WhatsApp group which is created already by Class Coordinator 10 minutes before the commencement of examination, i.e., at 9.20 a.m in the Fore Noon Session and 1.20 p.m. in the After Noon Session. Candidates are asked to write the examinations in the A4 Sheets only. The first page of A4 sheet has to be written in the Prescribed Format FIRST PAGE FORMAT provided to the students through WhatsApp group. The students can start writing the answers for the questions from the 2nd page(1st Sheet Backside) of the A4 Sheet. The A4 sheets should be maintained with page numbers at the top middle of the each page from the first page itself to all the pages. Left Margin of A4 sheets should be marked compulsorily. After Completing the examination, candidates are requested to write THE END at the end of their answer scripts without fail. Candidates should complete the examination by 12.30 p.m. in the FN and 4.30 p.m in the AN and scan all pages of the answer scripts using Doc Scanner App / Adobe Scan App (available in the play store for download) and upload the same as a single PDF from their own mail ID to their respective Official Class Mail ID before 1.30 p.m in the FN and 5.30 p.m in the AN. Answer Script considered as INVALID if sent from some others mail ID. The file name for the scanned pdf should be in the format as below. File Name Format: 1st Examination: 1-21CA101.pdf (No Spaces In-between) 2nd Examination: 2-21CA101.pdf (No Spaces In-between) and so on for the next coming examination. All the candidates are instructed to thread the answer scripts of each subject in the top left corner. Once after completion of all the exams, handover the hard copies of the Original Answer Scripts of all the subjects in a single bunch (KAM Hall in the Campus) the next day after completing all the exams between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. in person. Total number of papers and subject codes should be mentioned on the cover holding the answer scripts. Candidates should ensure that only single hand written answer sheets are uploaded. If students found uploaded with multiple hand written answer sheets, Answer sheets in printed form, answer scanned from the printed material, question papers and blank sheets etc., will be treated as INVALID and will be viewed seriously. In such cases, the student cannot claim that they have uploaded the answer sheets successfully. Answer Scripts will be valid only, if the hard copy matches the scanned PDF that is sent in the mail after the exam. In case of any hardship faced by the candidates in downloading the question papers and in uploading the scanned copies of the answer sheets, Students are requested to contact the respective class coordinators.
